What is Duel-Credit like?

Next year (senior year) I will be taking 4-6 DC classes at my local technical college. My school only has 5/6 AP's and I have already taken 2, and the rest are classes that I don't want or need. I was hoping to hear some inputs from students who have done duel enrollment. Is it awkward being (most likely) the only high schooler in class? Are the classes more or less difficult than your high school AP's? Will colleges look down upon them compared to AP's?
If it helps any, I considering taking
*Calc 2
*Chemistry
*Engineering 269 (equivalent to freshman Engineering at one of the colleges in considering)
Physics 1
American Lit
Government
Spanish (have to be placed)

The classes with a star are definite for my 1st semester. I have to take gov and Spanish to graduate high school, but I am hoping to take those at the highschool (depending on how schedules work). The others are other options that I may or may not will take. Thanks for your input!

Here is a post I wrote a few months ago about my experience as a full-time dual-enrollment student at a local university.

No one will know unless you tell them, and even then no one cares.

Depends on the high school and college involved, and on what classes you’re taking.

If you get to choose between taking an AP class versus taking a dual-enrollment class in the same subject, AP is preferable because it’s more standardized. Other than that, no.

It might not matter if you take dual-credit or AP because dual-credit classes can be “translated” into AP Credit if you take the appropriate AP Exam for that class i.e if you take principles of microeconomics in a community college, then come May you can take the microeconomics AP exam.
