What is "Intermediate Algebra"

<p>The minimum Math requirement for admission is intermediate algebra. What exactly is that equivalent to in college?</p>

<p>I would think intermediate Algebra would be Algebra I in high school. I would be surprised if there were an equivalent to intermediate Algebra at SC.</p>

<p>I was wondering what that would be for the community college that I’m currently attending, not for USC.</p>
