What is more important? GPA or Rank?

<p>God I'm freaking out because of all of this.</p>

<p>Also I doubt any school in the US will understand the grading system here.</p>

<p>It's from 1 to 6, 6 being the best.
Under 4 is failing.
A 5 is an honor grade (so it's an A)
So basically we have A, B and F</p>

My school mentioned that a 5 was an honor grade, but I hope the school will understand from that that I am nearly honors, meaning nearly A...</p>

<p>umm it's in Andover, Massachusetts. It's one of (arguably the best) best prep schools in the country. 4 is not considered failing, and people rarely get 6's.</p>

the Swiss public schools ystem is considered very difficult so fingers crossed the schools will take this into consideration.</p>
