All of the classes are year long. I left out Art and Gym classes but those aren't part of GPA, although I got A's in all of them.

EC:

Tennis (7th grade onwards)- played JV 9th & 10th grade, Varsity 11th & this year. Top-ranked high school in tennis; we regularly go to state and national competitions and are often undefeated in our area.

Your test scores are low and so are your grades, and you aren’t a URM or female (both of which confer big advantages to Harvey Mudd). ED will help but unless you can get at least a 32 on your ACT I don’t think your chances are very good.

Unfortunately, I don’t think your chances are great either. Your test scores are quite low for a school as selective as Harvey Mudd, and as bob said, you don’t have any hooks like being low-income, female, or a URM to boost you. If anything, it is good that your Math scores are significantly higher in your SATs, but you’d still need to raise your overall score to have a chance of being considered. If you can get a 32-33+ on the ACT, and hopefully a 36 in Math and/or Science, you’d have a much better chance. Also, your transcript shows that you’ve consistently had B’s in your science classes, which won’t do you any favors at a school that is solely focused on STEM like Mudd. You should try to use the other parts of your application (essays, recommendations, resume) to draw attention from your low stats. I’d also recommend taking the Math SAT II to show your strength in that area.

I have to agree with what was posted above. You need very strong math and science scores to get into Mudd, and more importantly, to do well at Mudd if you were to get in. 4s in AP Calc/Physics doesn’t bode well, and you would have to raise your Math II score by about 50 and your Physics SAT II by at least 100 to be competitive as well.
