<p>It’s a program that connects high-achieving, low-income students to top colleges. </p>
<p>Questbridge is a program that hands scholarships to high-achieving students coming from low-income backgrounds who are unable to attend said universities otherwise.</p>
<p>I don’t know the reason behind it, but Questbridge applicants receive their decisions earlier than the rest of us. It’s just a thing.</p>
<p>QB kids list 3-4 schools as their top matches, should the schools accept them. Thus all colleges that participate in QB need to evaluate and decide on an advanced schedule. For instance, last year the QB applicants to my alma mater all required super-speedy alumni interviews. Because of that chaos, this year, the admissions office skype interviewed all the QB applicants.</p>
<p>QB is a super program. But to qualify, one has to meet certain income levels and be 1st gen applicant. More essays, earlier deadlines in order to apply</p>
