Look, i'm strongly thinking about transferring from CalPoly Pomona to a UC (the good ones) and i just want to know what my chances are at this moment. Please don't question me nor give me any advice pertaining to CCs. I plan to at least try to transfer to a UC or if that fails, then CalPoly SLO, CALTECH, and MIT.

The UCs don’t publish separate stats for CSU to UC transfers. Look on http://statfinder.ucop.edu/statfinder/default.aspx: Undergraduate admissions rates and counts by applicant term -> All transfer students from any college or university -> Fall -> 2009 (the latest stats) -> California residents -> (select the campuses you want to see) -> Admissions rates and counts -> Complex table -> Check off Intended field of study and Type of college prior to UC -> Run

For some majors, CSU to UC transfers will fall under “All Other” which includes ANY colleges that are not CCC or UC. For other majors all the stats are mixed in. But it’s basically the only stats available.

Actually, UCLA does publish statistics on the schools it accepts transfers from. For UCLA, about 5% of all applicants applying from CSUs to UCLA as transfer students are admitted. I am not aware of any other UCs that publish this information but it is likely the others have similar acceptance rates for transfers from CSUs.

Hi I have an important question regarding GPA. I went to ucsb for my freshman year and then went to a ccc for a little over a year taking around 54 units. I’ve been trying to find out how the UCs I applied to for fall 2010 will calculate my gpa? Please let me know! I got a lower gpa at sb in my spring quarter due to family issues ( I got b’s and most A’s but ended up with 2 A’s and one F my spring quarter = stress driving from oc to sb daily to try to get to classes etc) then i went to a cc close to home. My ucsb gpa is 2.14 and my ccc gpa is 3.8~ , how would the system calculate my gpa?? I applied to UCI and UCLA

Thank you!!!
