I am planning on getting a Master's degree in accounting, but I want to stand out from the rest of the crowd. I was thinking about majoring in accounting then minoring in something with computers, or maybe finance. What are your thoughts on this, and what minor that deals with computers would be best suited for a major in accounting?

I think an Information Systems minor would make the most sense.

Finance major/accounting minor makes more sense than the reverse. Careers in finance use accounting but careers in accounting use more information technology as that’s where their recordkeeping is. Information Systems/Technology focuses on the business applications of computers vs. the technical/mathematical focus of Computer Science.
