What should I minor in as an Accounting Information Systems Major? Or should I work?

Hello!

I was originally an Accounting major, but I decided to switch over to Accounting Information Systems. Unfortunately, due to my late switch, I will be graduating a year later than expected (I was on track to graduate in 4 years before).

As a result, I find that I will have “free” time to either take more classes (minor in something?) or work. I’m fine with working, but I don’t want to put all my eggs in a basket and not take classes and not to get a job (And then just take like 1-2 classes a semester). I was thinking of getting a minor, but I wasn’t sure what would best “suit” an AIS major. I was thinking economics or professional and technical writing. Or I could minor in something totally random (i.e. photography), but I don’t think it’d be a good use of my time.

What should I minor in?

Thank you!

p.s. I’m terribly sorry if this is in the wrong category/discussion forum. This is my first time using and posting in college confidential (I had been a silent reader that skimmed the forums every now and then when my google searches would direct me here).
