What is the best online SAT prep?

I know that Khan Academy is free so I am thinking about using that but I also want to use other resources to gain strategies and tips. I am debating between Princeton Review and PrepScholar. Does anyone have experience with either prep sources and your viewpoint on the decision.

Speaking as an SAT tutor, online tutoring programs are such a mixed bag. They can be very helpful for certain things and not nearly as helpful for other. Likewise, they can be very helpful for certain kinds of students and not nearly as helpful for other kinds of students.

That being said, Khan Academy is a quality resource. It can help you brush up on some things and can teach you some topics. However, in my experience, when students learn something from KA, they only learn it at a pretty superficial level.

I haven’t heard too many great things about PR. I would steer clear of them. Their materials also aren’t great.

I am not too familiar with Prepscholar, but they do have at least some decent materials online that I have seen. Might be worth giving them a try.

I would also look more to books if I were you.

I’ve been looking into Testive. Any one have any feedback about them? Thanks.
