Hey thanks everybody, I heard alot good comments on the housing situations in the West and North Honors housing halls, but all I heard about the South one is that its very "noisy." Is the South one not as good as the other two or is it just very sociable and active?

Also, can some one enlighten me on the Housing situation for the Health science scholar program? Cuz I might do that too.

Thxs alot for being very friendly and helpful.

Thanks Velaen for the thorough Lincoln information. Lincoln does sound better, haha. I like the idea of bolstering my chances to like a roommate..

South dorms are good, nice, clean, etc., but it's true, they tend to be rowdier. This is not a bad thing necessarily, because you can go other places to study (lots of libraries, study lounges, etc.). However, I am the sort of person who likes to have relatively quietly and soberly, still being energetic, but I don't feel it is necessary to scream at the top of your lungs to have fun, so I didn't think I would fit in with the stereotypical "partyers."

No matter where you live, you'll probably think it's the best dorm. They're all good.

Except Lincoln is secretly the best.

South depends on where you live. I live in Morrison and am in the International House community. My floor isn't very loud, usually. Individual rooms, of course, are different (my roommate likes to study with loud music and I hate noise when I'm studying), but in general, it's a pretty quiet place, in my opinion. I don't know about the freshmen dorms or Siebert, which is a honors dorm. Morrison is part of the south dorms tunnels, though, and Siebert has study space Morrison residents can access.

I live in Bradley which is a smallish honors dorm on South campus. Since it's honors, people are generally pretty quiet, especially during the day. On the weekend people like to have party like everybody else, but you don't have to (I don't). At least for Bradley, it seems a lot quieter to me than the north dorms that I've visited. My friend lives in a quad on north and she came over one night to watch a movie and couldn't believe how quiet it was. So, that's nice. And everybody is pretty friendly (could just be my floor) although I don't socialize with them a lot cuz I hang out w/ friends from hs all the time! Yeah...some advice there would be to make the effort to get to know people at the beginning of the year, b/c it's a lot harder to do later, although it still happens. Anyways, I'm hoping to live here again next year, so I definitely like it. Bradley rulezzz!
