My SAT is 2210; Rank No.1; GPA 4.6/4.0.

Is the Gold Pegasus award the next best to National Merit? I know National Merit Finalists get a full ride at UCF and USF. I am only NM commended.

My d had essentially same stats as you: 4.6/4.0, 35/36 ACT, #1 in class, and she was also commended. She was offered Pegasus Gold (in-state), and then the Honors Program offered her another $1,000/year. She’s at UF, however. UCF didn’t have her major: chemical engineering.

Yup, the Gold Pegasus Scholarship is the next highest. I don’t know what the additional $1000 from the Honors college is. I got the National Merit and they tend not to award you anymore scholarships because of how much it is. You get the scholarship money the second week of school.

Hey! You should get the “Provost Scholarship”, like me. Your SAT score was 60pts higher than mine and you have around the same GPA I have. The provost scholarship is better than the Gold Pegasus; I got $20,000 ($2,500 per semester.) Just got it in the mail today. Good luck!
