Well, I'm 14 now, Im in 8th grade and I live in Brazil. Next year, I'm gonna move to USA (alone) to study in a boarding school.

As almost everybody, my preferences are Exeter and Andover. But I know that those schools are very highly-selective and competitive.

I think I speak English well, but I know I can improve it a lot yet. My financial background is well, my father is a surgeon and my mother is a lawyer, they annual income is 130k, but they've saved money for two and a half years. Probably, they'll pay the full tuition in just one payment.

I wanna know if there is some (very) good boarding school in Northeastern US that isn't so hard to get into.

Any of the GLADCHEMS schools are excellent, but they are all also very competitive. I would also research based on your interests and find schools with high acceptance rates that meet your other criteria. I’m sure somebody could tell you about great hidden gems as well.

Try boardingschoolreview.com and refine your search by looking at SSATs for admission rates, etc.

Peddie, Blair, Northfield Mt. Hermon, Concord Academy are a few suggestions I’d have. There are more in Massachusetts that fly under the radar like Williston, Wilbraham and Monson, Suffield (CT), etc., and have higher admission rates.
