<p>My son got this in the mail. He will be a sophomore next year and we did not see this or fill it out last year?</p>
<p>Is it legit or what? what types of aid do they offer?</p>

<p>I think it is a private company that does financial advice and charges a fee. We got a letter from them last year. As far as I recall they present themselves as if they can help you with financial aid. But they are nothing to do with federal aid etc. We tossed it.</p>
<p>I don't know, specifically, about this outfit, but I do recall come-ons, both snail mail and electronic, from orgs that claimed to be able to get scholarships for S or help get financial aid.</p>
<p>I am leery, in general, about such offers. If you remain interested, suggest you check BBB and the FA offices of some local colleges for information.</p>
