<p>Theoneo, Akash is actually a very common Indian name. It means 'sky,' but I agree, it sounds nice. :)</p>

<p>Akash is really common...u just walk down the road in bombay and scream "akash" and ul get hundreds of people running up to u. I've actually tried it, but with "rahul" and it worked like magic :p.</p>

And there was a sub whose name was Dr. ****, and it was even on his ID card. He was not American, however.
Another teacher had the last name Serkownek because the customs officer at Ellis Island misspelled the name Serkowniak, itself a rare Polish name. However his blunder created the only people in the world with that surname.</p>
