Not sure what GPA colleges will look at.

Any word on senior grades?

Fast Word For A Bump

They see whatever your high school sends. Most colleges require first semester senior grades for RD applicants as well.

transcript from freshmen to 1st semester of senior year??

What is RD?

RD = Regular Decision.

Your high school initially sends your transcript from freshman to junior years along with the Secondary School Form and the School Report. Then after first semester grades, your school sends your updated transcript from freshman to first semester senior year along with the Midyear Report. Then, once you've decided where you're going, your school sends your final transcript and proof of graduation to that school only, along with the Final Report.

But which transcript is considered when deciding if I am a go?

For my D it was her regular GPA not super weighted. She got in a lot of places, so just give them the truth.

Both are considered. Senior year grades are important. Every data point counts to colleges. They use your entire file. Which GPA calculation they use or whether they recalculate your GPA depends on the school.
