what is the highest academic degree you want?

pretty straightforward.

are you going to get an MBA? MFA? an MD? Ph.D?
or are you going to stop after graduating from Cal with a bachelor's degree?

bonus Q: how old do you think you will be when you'd be completely "done" with formal schooling?

Dds, 28/29?

Masters only

I used to think about the fifth year program for MS degree. Looking at my GPA so far, I’m better off just graduating.

A BS and MS in EECS & then an MBA in Finance from Harvard!

MD or MPH if the former does not work out

29/30

PhD, if all goes as planned.

27ish?

PhD.

Hopefully before I’m 30. Depends on funding, life stuff, etc.

PhD before 25, and maybe pursuing either another one in a different field or getting an MBA. Haven’t really decided what to do after my PhD.

Wow! I’m surprised! And I love this thread by the way because I’ve been wondering for so long. A lot of people I talk to are basically done after their bachelor’s. like 85% of them.

For me, I want to get the highest I can. I’m not sure what that is yet. but Ph. D probably

why does everyone want phds? is everyone a hardcore academic here? lols

I want an MD, but if things don’t work out, I want to get an MFT or something similar to for counseling. If I like it enough, I might want a PhD in counseling psych, but that’s still far down the line.

the only reason i’d get a phd is for the badass graduation robe with the felt-striped sleeves, the cool hood, and the little hat thing…

PhD, probably around 28 years old (depending on how long the program is)

MBA and be graduated by the time im 31/32ish? If I don’t get into a top 25 program, then stick with my Bachelors.

I want a phD cus it sounds smart and you get more respect lol just like going to berkeley, this PRESTIGIOUS university, gains u respect : D

back where i come from, everyone’s a low life.

I’m done after my BA hopefully going straight into politics!

Kind of want an MD/PhD, but that almost seems overly ambitious…not to mention a huge committment as well.

I want to be done with schooling at 24. Wow, everyone wants PhDs. Hope you guys don’t burn out.

PhD, hopefully in the fall after getting my BA…that’ll put me
Around 33-34.
