I was unable to take the December SAT, but I am signed up to take my SAT IIs in January. The exam date is later in the month. Would Barnard still accept January SAT scores?

Barnard will not take January subject tests scores. D is also taking them in January so we have the list of who will and who will not accept them at that time.

Okay thank you. I could only find Columbia’s when I was looking, and their last date is January, so thank you for clarifying.

@NEPatsGirl if your daughter is really interested in Barnard, they will still consider January Subject Tests. I sent them an email asking and this was the response:
Thanks for reaching out! You may take the January SAT subject tests, however, there is no guarantee that we will receive the results in time for review, in which case the scores would not be considered in your application. What we recommend is that you take a screenshot of your scores once they become available and email that as soon as you receive your scores. That way we can make a decision pending your official scores. You should still be sure to send us your score reports from any other test date prior to January.

Well, thank you so much for that. Honestly, I figured we’d send them to everyone if they were good just in case But knowing they might consider unofficial scores is bonus. And this is a prime example of not taking everything you learn on CC as gospel.
