will barnard accept january SAT tested scores…I was thinking of taking the SAT’s in january since I never took SAT1…I took the act’s…but I cant find anywhere where it says whether they accept january sat scores…I know some colleges do…because I read that johns hopkins…hmmm

Oh Im a senior at the moment…and Im applying to barnard RD

But if you took the ACTs, you don't need to take SAT I. If you got at least a 32 or above on the ACTs, there is no need to really take another test.

I know but my parents really want me to take the SAT1...but I was thinking maybe taking the SAT 2's instead...but it really depends..but I just want to sign up for something before the deadline...but i dont know if barnard will accept the scores from january because the score probably comes in febuary

Oh, and if you took the ACT, for Barnard, you don't have to take subject tests...that is unless you are considering other schools that require them.:)

It might be a bit late to submit them, but maybe you should call up the admissions office at Barnard to see if they will allow it. Or, try emailing them. Phoning them is best though.

i personally e-mailed them to ask about January scores (because I never took the subject tests and was unable to register for the Dec. sat IIs). their response was that as long as you indicate your intent to take them on the common application, you should be fine. they said they would prefer if they were rush reported, as well, once scores are available.
