<p>It depends on the college you’re applying to, not the major/department within the college. College of Engineering is definitely harder to get into as compared to Letters&Science, but the intended major you put on your application will not affect your chances if it is within the same college. From what I know, for L&S, everyone enters as undeclared, so your intended major is not binding, nor does it factor into the admissions process.</p>

<p>I’ve heard EECS is pretty easy. Definitely try that. Don’t do humanities or anything in L&S. Too much competition. EECS is where all the chill people hang out and shoot the breeze.</p>

<p>I think you should have someone double check your grammar on your personal essay before hoping to get in. But to help you out, don’t choose MCB if you do get in.</p>
