My school doesn't offer AP Environmental Science or AP Human Geography and those are two AP's I've ALWAYS wanted to take, because I have such in interest in the topics. But I already have 5 other AP classes this year

How do you discipline yourself to self study and is it even worth it. I have a study hall first period, so if I WANTED to self study I could use that as a class period, because there is a kid in my grade who self studied AP Spanish on the computer.

Definitely worth it if it’s a class you want to that your school does not offer. I didn’t “self-study” exactly, but I did take classes online independently for the past 2 years for a class that my school didn’t offer. It requires a lot of self-discipline and can sometimes be more difficult if you have no resources to help you, but I think it was worth it, for me at least. Find someone who has taken the class you want before and see if they’d be open to helping you.
PS those are two of the easiest APs. If you’re going to self-study, those would be the ones I’d do.

College credit, or to meet prerequisites for a more advanced class at a local college (for example, my high school didn’t offer any AP calculus classes, so I self-studied AP Calculus BC so I’d be able to take multivariable calculus and other stuff in my senior year). It doesn’t help with admissions.
