What is the quality of UCSC's electrical engineering (EE) program? How does it compare to other UCs?

Right now I am at the local community college in Santa Cruz, Ca, where UCSC is located. I am majoring in electrical engineering and the time to sign my tag is approaching, next fall. I will be applying to other UCs like UCSB, and UCB. However, I know that I can sign a tag with UCSC so I will have guaranteed acceptance. If I do end up staying in santa cruz, how will this affect my job prospects once I get my degree? My greatest interest is working as an EE in the aerospace industry. Thanks!

An engineering degree from any UC school is a good basis from which to start working in many fields. Go to the program that appeals to you most and if you end up in UCSC as a backup, don’t worry, it is perfectly acceptable.

You should really post this in the Engineering Majors forum as you will get more responses there.
