WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN D.C, Gtown, BESIDES STUDYING

Hey

I'm just concerned about social life... What do you guys do over there for FUN?? Does it get boring very quickly or is there a lot to do?? Especially in the georgetown area.

thanks for your help :)

I'm not a Georgetown student, but when I visited D.C., one area of D.C. struck me...Two words: DuPont Circle!

I was wondering about this too. I visited Georgetown over spring break and, although I had tons of fun, it kind of seemed to me that it would get boring fast. The Georgetown area was cute, but it seems as if after about three weeks, you would have been to every store and every restaurant, etc. And the greater DC area was nice as well, but it seemed like there wasn't very much there, and the stuff that was there was mostly just good for touristy stuff and wouldn't be that useful while actually living there. However, I am only 16 (today actually...so I was 15 when I went), and I went with my mom and my younger sister, so I could only see so much, and I could be completely wrong. So, people who go to Georgetown or live in DC, let me know please!

Wow I got a completely different vibe when I visisted Georgetown over spring break. It made my decision for me. I mean I probably couldn't think of a place with more things to do than DC. My ************** book gave the social atmosphere an A+ (if that means anything to you). From what I saw in my brief visit, I definitely agree. I visisted some other campuses (Wake Forest, Emory, UNC, Princeton) and the surrounding area was quite boring in comparison to DC.

I hope a Georgetown student will comment on this since I'm still waiting to become a freshman in the fall. But I'll get back to you when I get there!

-stores
-restaurants
-coffee shops
-hookah bars
-random walks near the harbor
-museums/cultural type things
-concerts
etc
There's stuff to do; don't worry about it.

clubbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's just a few stops away from the nation's capitol. museums, shops, galleries, monuments, gorgeous parks, exhibitions, concerts.
campus student organizations also put on a lot of shows and activities. usually you have too much to do and don't have time for all the activities.
