^I didn't ask about basketball. lol i asked my interviewer what's one thing shedidn't like about Duke, and she was like "uh........nothing" so funny cuz my Rice interviewer (who went to Harvard for grad) said that she DEFINITELY liked Massachussetts better than Texas. haha

i had my interview last weekend- it was great! very casual, just met at a starbucks... interviewer had a pad of paper that looked to have a few questions on it- didn't take notes much but did at some points... very stereotypical questions:
what do you do other than school?
what do you do for community service?
picture yourself at graduation: what is the one thing you'll be most proud of from your high schoole experience?
why duke?
etc.

easily talked for an hour. :) good luck guys!

my interview was much longer than i expected. it took place @ my local libraryy & lasted for almost an hour & a half. but they were the best 90 minutes of my life =D. anyway, make sure you have a good reason for wanting to attend! ! my interviewer asked me to tell her about myself, which i was hesitant about, but did anyway. she wanted to know what it was like coming from a diverse, low income area, what i liked/hated most about it, my hobbies, etc. then i asked a few questions about sports, & we got into talking about the gothic architecture. her last question for me was, "if you could tell the adcoms something about you thats not already on the application, what would it be ?" that was my favorite, considering i hadn't really thought about it. anyway, dont be nervous! ! come prepared & be yourself.
