any tips or advice?

Relax. Interviews aren't going to make or break you at all. It's more of an opportunity for you to ask questions/get to know Duke. They don't really use them in admissions.

Just enjoy yourself, be personable, and ask questions.

Yea it went fine. Lasted about 20 min probably since my interviewer seemed really busy. But I'm just happy its done with.

Just as long as you defeated Andross and saved the Lylat System all is well.

I didn't even know one could get an interview in NM!

Just to set the record straight, interviews are evaluative, and from what I understand, they are used in admissions as another type of recommendation. However, that doesn't mean one needs to be nervous about them--the interviewers generally try to put the applicant at ease. Interviews are to get to know the students on a more personal level and hopefully learn something special about them that may not be conveyed through the paper application. Just be yourself and be honest with your responses. Good luck.

Dur... ignore my previous comment. Somehow I got it into my head that lavaplatos made this topic which is why I referenced NM.

Oh and defeating Andross is good and all but you also need to save the princess. Though you'll find if you get into Duke that she is actually in another castle.

Gotta do a barrel roll.

On a more serious note, mine was about 45 minutes at a Starbucks.

My guy talked (caffeine kick from a prior interview, and he was still guzzling down another grande size) a lot so it lasted about an hour and a half. Still, he tried to keep the situation casual and, in my opinion, made me really think that Duke was something for me.

Mine lasted for about 2 hours at his house. We had a great conversation.

All-Range Mode.
