<p>Under Represented Minority-- a minority group whom a college may consider in a different light due to extenuating circumstances/difficulties that they have had to overcome. It generally includes African-Americans, Hispanics, or Native Americans. Some claim that Asians are ORM (Over Represented Minorities) and thus are at a disadvantage (at top schools)</p>
