^Should’ve thought about that before you applied early to MIT. ;)

So Cornell, Penn, Stanford are already out, Brown is on Monday, and MIT is on Thursday?

They’ve probably made all of their decisions and are now sitting back laughing, thinking about the torture that this wait is bringing us. I mean come on, do they really have to wait until 5pm on Wednesday?

Yes, they do. I read on their site a while back that each year, at 4:50 PM, they pick names out of a hat. The first 750 are admitted.

Admission officers are busy Nov 1-Dec 14 answering our emails. The decisions, like I said, will be made next Wednesday, from 4:50PM-4:59PM.

^^ You’re wrong. They actually accept the first 750 applicants who log in to the decisions website. Since being first is the best way to show interest in the school.

Interesting theory, iceui2. I think mine is far more plausible, though. You can’t honestly expect a prestigious school like Yale to make such arbitrary decisions. I mean come on!

You’re right - 10 minutes is definitely infinitely times more than 0.
