What is you most embarrasing moment...

I was just chating with one of my friends. We were talking about embarrasing moments. I just remebered the time when I was 15, and taking Driver's Ed. When it was my turn to drive, everything went fine at the beginning, but then he told me to park on the parking lot (in front of the parking lot were some stairs that lead to the Bank of Moulton) and instead of slow down to stop, I used the accelerator, almost crashing to the stairs and the teacher didn't even used the special brakes!!!! He was freaked out! It was me who used the brakes!! I almost send the other students in the back through the windshield. It was really embarrasing!!! What is most embarrasing moment in college or High School?

yeah, move this thread. and no name calling.

Who wants friends on a forum? ;)

Ack! I was just kidding... I guess sarcasm doesn't really show through posts. :p

Sorry! I was only kidding. No hard feelings, okay? :)

PS- what does being 17 have to do with anything? You're 19- just a 2 year difference.

All the hostility! Obviously age does not bring wisdom...or perception of sarcasm.

i'm confused? did something get deleted...or am i just missing something?

To get this thread back on track...

My most embarrassing experience was without a doubt my prom (May 04). I went with the only guy I wanted to go with, and I think it blinded me from realizing what a bad experience it was going to be.

My date didn't want to go to prom at all, but I think he got presured into going by his friend. I knew this, but I guess I was just too selfish to realize it. I had never been to a formal dance and I wanted to be able to say, "yeah, I went to my prom and with the guy I liked." In retrospect, I don't know how I was so blind to it all.

He asked me in some really roundabout way. Something like, "If I were to ask you to prom, you say no, right?" When I said, "No, I wouldn't say no." Then he was like, "So we're going?" And then when he did ask me directly, it was over AIM! And plus it was 2 weeks before so my mother wouldn't let me buy the dress I wanted to wear because "2 weeks isn't enough to have something altered." I ended up having to wear my sister's stupid dress from 3 years earlier which looked terrible on me since she's smaller than me.

And then we were at the actual prom, all we did was just sit. We weren't even talking to each other. And what made things really mortifying, was that 3 different people came up to me at different times and made comments like "Whoa, what did you do to your date? He looks miserable."

Maybe those comments were more hurtful than mortifying actually because I knew he hadn't wanted to go, but I let it happen.

But getting all dressed up fancy and realizing your date didn't want to go to prom when you really wanted to is damn crushing for a girl.

In retrospect, I'm glad I went, but I would try to go stag with my other friends if I had to do it over.

Ok sorry for the long rant, I just finished reading a bunch of prom talk on the high school forum.
