<p>DarkKnight666, congrats on being accepted! Usually it takes 3-4 weeks for the Honors Program to look at your application after you get accepted. After that, they might either accept you automatically and give you your letter, or wait until they see everyones application before making a decision. If you applied priority, you have ‘priority’ for the Honors program as opposed to people who applied between Dec 2 and Jan 15.</p>

<p>Igi- welcome to my world. i have a 3.3 and 1980 SAT and applied early nov and been on received materials since nov 25 and ppl got in with less steller stats than mine…go figure</p>
<p>I applied on January 14th. Got accepted today (2/2). I was so surprised to have even been accepted. My stats are definitely not up to par compared to the posts I have read on here.</p>
<p>I just checked today…and I got in. Well it says it’s reviewed, i have an official transcripty, everything is loaded (like time schedules and stuff)…</p>
<p>I think everyone that applied in December should know by now if they get in. Well…I don’t have that great of an SAT score nor do I have good grades anymore, but I have some EC, I’m running start (full time), I volunteer a lot, and I thought my essay was okay!</p>
<p>If you applied by Dec 1 though, I think you should give it another month (I originally thought priority students found out in February) before completely freaking out. However, the letters are coming! ;)</p>
<p>I used to be very excited about the prospect of possibly going to UW.</p>
<p>Now I’m seeing the ridiculous numbers of intro classes (700 peoples? more than in my high school) and tuition is rising yet again on top of expensive OOS tuition.</p>
<p>Going to my safety school with a half-tuition scholarship is seeming better every day…</p>

<p>I applied for honors by the priority deadline, but the letter of recommendation didn’t get received until 1/8. (Teacher had trouble with the e-mail, so he sent it by regular mail)</p>
<p>My question: Is my app. considered priority?</p>

<p>Gimmel: I’m not sure about that, actually. You should check with the honors office. Do you know when the recommendation was postmarked? I hope you get into honors! Then I’ll probably see you at orientation or something, haha</p>
