It would have been interesting to see kids wear slippers or something interesting like a fluffy robe to the SSATs. The kids I took it with just wore the typical Vineyard Vines shep shirts paired with Lululemon headbands and some patterned Patagonia fleeces. Nothing too special. I heard about this one kid that wore a full suit, though. I guess whatever works for you will work for you!

^^ I’ve never used a 0.9, so I don’t know, but I also find the 0.7 to be too clunky.
They are prohibited (at least for College Board exams). Not that it stopped me.
I never bring mechanical pencils to standardized tests. I have this fear that they won’t scan. But for regular ScanTron school tests, I almost always use my mechanical pencils. 
My friend got me a Faber Castell 1.4 lead mechanical pencil. Now that was Godzilla.
I HATE 0.5 pencils!!! Too easy to break. I actually like 0.9 a lot, I feel like it makes my hand writing neater and feels smooth to write with. I can deal with 0.7 but 0.9 is my favoriteee

I love how those pencils tap and make a vibration that feels good on my fingers.
A regular yellow wooden #2 for me. We even have the old fashioned school house sharpener on the back of our kitchen door:). #oldschool

Never knew people put so much thought into pencils! I usually swear by Steadler or Uni… but any works for me
