D’s high school is one of the top agricultural magnet schools in the U.S. and was featured on public television – the educational program was good enough to get her an offer of early admission to a doctoral program in veterinary medicine.

^^ Modulation haha I know it’s Ep high lmao. I’ve heard that your fb team is ridiculously good as for the fb photos…they were all over the news lol.

My school has had these famous students:

Marilyn Monroe
Elizabeth Taylor
Randy Newman
Michael Jackson
James Brolin
Sandra Dee
Danny Elfman

We’ve also featured in these movies/TV shows:

Bruce Almighty
Freedom Writers (a big chunk)
Oliver Beene
7th Heaven
Arrested Development
Drillbit Taylor (almost entirely set there)

Were famous for the Bayside Health Sciences Academy. A magnet school for people who want to go into the medical field.

We also had the number 1 quarterback (wow nerd quarterback haha) in the country last year, E.J. Manuel. Went to Florida and was class rank of like 40/530 haha.

Also the show Saved By the Bell got the school name from us =D

A couple years ago my school was featured on the front page of the sunday New York Times.

Both of the high schools in my district simultaneously and independently chose LGBT principals

Matt Leblanc graduated from there

We’re currently building the most expensive school in the state

My school’s famous (in Pennsylvania anyway) for winning a statewide grant that provides each classroom with iMac computers and smartboards.

hmm… and for being really huge. some people that pass it think that they’re looking at like a community college.

Nathalie Portman and Idina Menzel both went to my school as well as others. Nathalie is my neighbor haha. No joke.

My high school is famous for having a 0-10 football win-loss record for the last 5 years or so.

if I told you, you would all freak out.

eh, if i said anything u would all identify my school( and consequently, me)

But I can spell my neighbors’ names.

We’re not really that famous.

Nationally:
We’re on Newsweeks Top 100.
Until I think 2 years ago, we had the most AP courses
Charles Manson went there (and Theda Bara!)
Last year’s Teen Jeopardy winner attends

Locally:
We’re seen as the only “acceptable” public school by many
Latin’s required for 3 years
You have to pass a test to get in
Our football team is horrendous

Wow. My school isn’t particularly famous; locally we’re known for football, mostly, and having good performing arts programs. Our band and chorus got invited to go perform in China by some government program, apparently the first public school to be asked. That’s gotten a bit of attention lately (they’re going over spring break).

I’m kind of surprised at how many people go to schools in the top 100 and/or with famous alumni.

smartboards are not smart… they are dumb

We have the most NMSQT semifinalists in Central NJ.

A lot of graduating kids (like at least a good 20 or 30 out of 500) go to top schools.

We have the 3rd worst Lacrosse team in the state.

Our performing arts i.e. music and theatre are teh awesomeness.

Our football team sucks…

…and so does our soccer team.

Among others, my town’s mayor, Mark Polansky, and Mike Vallely graduated from my school.

Black kids…

NATIONALLY:
-weve been in Newsweek’s top 100 high schools for 4+ years now.
-10+ merit scholars every year
-higher average SAT and ACT scores than the national average

LOCALLY:
-Tennis team has won the state title 11 years in a row now.
-HOCKEY (this is the big one)
-#2 in state for academics
-tied with two other schools for being one of the least diversified student body in the state (thats not a compliment lol)
-we offer alot of AP classes

Haha - this is what Wikipedia said about my school:

“Although the school spends their money poorly, they still have a good football team. Good thing we know what really matters!”

That’s pretty much it. We also have a good tennis team and music program, but nothing SPECTACULAR. Why does everyone else go to a distinguished high school? :?

nationally: most expensive (to build) public secondary school in the US. over $60 million.

regionally: we’re notorious for drugs. part of our name rhymes with “crack” so guess what they call us…

and we have a HUGE marching band.

My AP English teacher taught Diablo Cody (Writer of the movie Juno) when she went to my school. I think we have something like three gold medalists too.
