What is your (non-ivy) dream school?

USC!!!!

But I didn't get in... so I'll have to try transferring or grad school

I'm gonna say Reed or JHU

College of the holy cross...yea new ground

Rice and Northwestern

MIT and JHU

Berea College. But I think I have a 50/50 shot anyhow

The responses to this thread are predictable: the Ivies are 8 schools, distributed in the rankings between 1 and 20. So far people listed practically every other school in those same slots that is not an Ivy. If I am reading the intent of the OP correctly, the intent was to elicit responses on the excellent but not quite so snotty colleges in the 30-60 range of the rankings, and their unranked peers. I will try to start a new thread on this topic and see where it leads.

im lookin for a nice school on the east coast right by water... any thoughts?... thanks

"im lookin for a nice school on the east coast right by water... any thoughts?... thanks"

No you mean East Coast like Maine or East Coast like Florida?

northwestern

i was thinking like south. maybe florida. maybe south carolina or north something southeast on the water..... thanks for the help

g-town son

Definitely Boston College. Good academics and amazing sports teams

Cal State San Bernandino.

I think I should become a comedian.

This may sound silly, but UIUC.

UIUC is a nice school. No shame in that.

No shame in that at all. It has some nice programs, especially in accounting and engineering, and many of my friends go there and love it there.

Deep Springs

my dream school is Stanford
