What is your (non-ivy) dream school?

Stanford
USC

Duke Emory

mtngoat:

Hooray for a vote for Fordham! What a GREAT school in a GREAT location with SUPERB faculty. A gorgeous campus, friendly close knit student body, a healthy dose of academics without being frenetic and all stressed out, and unbelievable internships and connections for grad school or work.

Plus the Jesuit ethics and ethos is so enriching.

I hope you get in.

But to all the others on this thread: your dream school should really be the one that is the best fit for you: scores, grades, classrank, culture, and all the factors that make it the best school for you....NOT just how it is ranked in USNWR.

pretty much all of my schools I plan to apply to except for boston university

(includes NYU, Reed, Vassar, WashU) and Uchicago if I could attend.

st john's college in maryland is pretty neat

Olin and Harvey Mudd for me.

Glad to know that there's a sizable majority willing to go beyond the HYPCCBPD, and admit it!

UNC Chapel Hill, of course

Reed! Alas, too far away.

swarthmore

UCLA. 3.4 as a transfer wont get me in though =(
