Ehh I'm starting to think I may need to take out my point. I go to an extremely competitive school (all Asians and Jewish ppl), there may be more correlation that way.

If you think all A's are created equally think again. At most high schools its a breeze to get all A's. SATs are a great equalizer to a limited extent. If you get a 170/1700 on your PSAT or SAT at any point unless you have a serious test anxiety issue or English is not your first language, you can't be brilliant. There are basic foundations in Math and English tested which should be second nature and unfortunately for many Americans are not. Now the difference between a 2100 and a 2200 is a little more difficult to quantify. This chart is simply indicating to me (again to a limited extent) how competitive your respective high schools are.
Personally- SAT 2360
GPA 3.9 (Yes I have got B's and people heading to HYPS from my school have got B's)

Well, my school is competitive enough that there are kids outside of the top 10% being admitted to Cornell, Penn, and Columbia. I wish I went to those easy schools that you can breeze by with straight A's. :(

gpa is only as concrete as the individual's school curriculum. honestly, i feel that this thread will not produce any relevant information. the sat measures natural intelligence, and gpa measures how much you care about your studies. as a result, if i were a college admissions rep, i'd take high sat/low gpa combos with much caution.

anyway, for the sake of this "experiment"
sat: 1410, 750 wr.
gpa: 3.92 UW

Ya I don't know about predicting too
I never got an A in math besides one semester in Geometry and one semester in Trig/precal
and I got 780 on SAT I math and 800 on Math IIC...
