What is your summer to-do list? And what have you accomplished?

<p>So many of us are starting to write our essays and filling out our applications, gathering last volunteering hours.. and such..</p>

<p>What is your to do list? What have you accomplished so far?</p>

<p>Lounge/regenerate from the school year
Abuse free soda policies at work
At least look at/get familiar with the Commonapp and Stanford supplement
Get letters of rec from teachers
Write my novel</p>

<p>As for accomplishment:</p>

Prep for my SAT II’s (to be taken in Oct.)
Read the 3 books required for AP Eng. Lit next year
Do the 10 chapter outlines and quizzes required for AP Bio. next year
Start working on my college Applications</p>

<p>Finish the calc work I have to do for BC -in good shape
Start my webassign for AP physics- one problem done
read all 5 books for ap lit- about 2/3 done with 2 books
earn lots of money- i hate my job
volunteer- yup</p>

Full-time 9-week internship (For all of you who have 20-25 hours-per-week internships, I hate you. 7 x 40 hours-per-week = 280 long, long hours to go)
ED + EA Applications (Ha. Ha ha ha. Well, I LOOKED at the applications; does that count?)
Newspaper Column (my editor must be p**<em>ed off by now; my latest article’s almost a week late and I’m deliberately not looking at my e-mail)
SAT II Prep (Ha. Silly myself, that requires having free time and not wasting it on web comics and CC)

  1. Just finished both courses. Got A’s.
  2. Been studying strategies and reviewing material. I’m going to start doing practice tests now (the bulk of the practice).
  3. I started reading one of the books for Lit; I barely started the Bio.
  4. Been going to Band Camp. I’m Clarinet Section Leader now.
  5. Been going to practices. I have a parade two Saturday’s from now.
  6. I’ve been reading 2 books on essays. I have a pretty good idea of my essay topics now.
  7. I know what I need to do for ec’s next year.
  8. I filled out everything that wasn’t Academic honors/extracurriculars.
  9. I know two people I want to write rec’s for me; I still don’t know who I should ask for my math/science rec.
  10. Once I get my Bio prep book in the mail today I’m going to start studying for Bio.
  11. Just started practicing with Rosetta Stone.</p>
