I plan on doing economics as a major to pursue business (like working for apple or something like that) and I wanted to know which ivy is best for that major, I'm planning on doing Early action to one this fall and was just curious. Thanks guys, just looking for a little more direction haha. Any little helps :)

Wouldn’t a better question be, “What college or university is best for economics major?”

And wouldn’t an even better question be, “Could you all help me find a really good college or university for me if I want to study economics?”

All of them.

Harvard. But if I was going to pick any university for econ, it would be George Mason.

Why only Ivy’s? There are many great schools aside from the institutions that are in that specific sports conference.

Any of the Ivy’s are going to have great econ/business programs though.

If you want to work at Apple, it may be better to attend school local to Apple.

None of the schools local to Apple’s headquarters are in the Ivy League. Stanford and Berkeley are in the Pac-12. San Jose State is in the Mountain West Conference. Santa Clara is in the West Coast Conference. UCSC is an independent NCAA Division III school.

UChicago. Just as prestigious as any Ivy. Good luck!

Probably Harvard just because.

Not sure if Wharton has econ, but Wharton would be the best for a business career path.

Penn Wharton grants “Bachelor of Science in Economics” degrees.

However, the curriculum is clearly a business curriculum (which does include some economics courses with an emphasis on applications to business), not a liberal arts type of economics curriculum.
