I'm curious to see what work people have done when in undergrad or grad school to pay for their tuition/student loans What's the easiest job to get without any previous experience? What work pays the best? Which jobs offer tuition reimbursement? Which jobs left you struggling? Has anyone done any of those online certification programs and found good employment? Please share!

Back when the dinos roamed, I was a waitress and bartender in a college bar. I earned more money at that than at my first teaching job. I was able to pay my housing costs from my salary..and my books and personal expenses. I also worked making pizza, was an RA (got a free room for that the year I did that), had a work-study job as a professor's assistant (that was the job I liked the best), was a counselor in the dorms during the summer for summer programs, and babysat for professors. I found bartending to be a great job because the evening hours did not interfere with my classes.

Back when dinos were born, I swept floors, washed dishes in cafeteria, was a grader, worked as a machinist in the grave yard shift. Then TA and RA ...life became good.
