What kind of a photo did you use?

Hey so I know how a lot of people use to upload a photo and I've heard about all sorts of photos being submitted, so I was just curious what sort of photos did the rest of the CCers submit, if you submitted any. If you haven't, why didn't you?
Personally I just used a portrait of me, nothing special no big deal just a regular white background headshot.

i sent a pic of me in my swim suit (no, im not a swimmer),

I just sent a picture of me in my cheerleading uniform. I cropped it though so it was just a little more than a head shot. Hopefully, they’ll like the preppy vibe they get from it? lol

A b/w picture of me wearing my fav. shirt, which has “Make Samosas, Not War” on the front. Hahah… captures me pretty well I think

I sumbitted a very simple black and white headshot taken by my friend who has a nice camera.

I didn’t submit a photo, I noticed it said they wanted a photo in case they had met you so maybe they would remember. Of course, I don’t think you’ll get in trouble for submitting a photo if you havent had an interview or anything.

^There’s no way they could know if you met an addcom

I did something a little risky…I sent a drawing I did of my sister…gosh, I hope that’s ok!

plain & simple w/me smiling
nothing risky

Upper body/head shot
it was a pretty formal picture.

does it hurt if you did not submit a photo ?

^I think it can’t hurt you unless you’re like, extremely hideous  my take on it was that it’s harder to reject someone if you can see their face

I sent in my senior portrait.

Lol, I think I’m the only one here who didn’t send in a traditional photo.

I sent a picture of myself with my friends (they were cropped out) at a music festival. We all had bright face-paint on, colored bandanas, and smiley-face stickers covering our necks.

i took a simple photo of myself outside with trees in the background. (no, not like myspace-style photo. like a tripod + remote control photo)

I sent a photo of myself in a g-string with the words “pick me” painted in blue on my chest.

^you copycat!! jk

I sent a creative self-portrait that I did for a photography class. It definitely wasn’t a traditional photo, lol.

My son was going to send this photo of himself, just a casual picture. Only he was using my new MacBook computer and we couldn’t figure out how to export the photo, so he never did.

I finally figured out how to do that and always wondered if I should send the photo. What do you think?

I used a picture of myself looking through a hole in a statue.
Yeah, pretty much like a holiday shot; but my face is clearly visible.

I used a picture that was taken at an awards ceremony. I was half tempted to use one of me volunteering, but I looked disgustingly sweaty, covered in dirt and woodchips.

Mine was me sitting on the floor of my house holding my dog. I thought it might seem more personable than a formal headshot.
