<p>I live in Tennessee, African American, 3.4 GPA. HOPING and going to try to for a 30 on the ACT. Also plan on doing football next year and doing volunteer work over the summer. Any good colleges open to me?</p>
<p>It may help others help you if you can describe:</p>

<li><p>Your intended or possible major(s). If undecided, what general areas you are interested in.</p></li>
<li><p>What you and your parents can afford, and whether that it at least as much as what college net price calculators assume that you can afford. If what you and your parents can afford is less than what the colleges assume, then you need to find merit scholarships, or save money some other way (e.g. attend community college for two years and then transfer). Of course, if you and your parents can afford full price at any college, then you need not worry as much about cost constraints.</p></li>
<li><p>Any other preferences in colleges, such as size, religiousness or not, urban vs. suburban vs. rural, location, etc…</p></li>
