What GPA/SAT scores do you need to have?

I think it's based more on your extracurricular achievements. Although I wouldn't expect too much :[

Really? idk, I was just wondering.

We had one last year. Top 20 out of about 600 students. That would be a GPA of around 5.6 on a 5.0 scale. He was a 4 year choir student and in the musicals.

really REALLY smart kids. one of my best friends from hs got a really nice scholarship and FA at NYU. he had like a 4.5/4.0 (4.65 is the highest you could go at my HS and that was if you skipped lunch jr/sr year to take extra APs which some kids did). national merit scholar and top 10% of our class (the only rank we had). not many ECs though, never did sports or got involved in any clubs except NHS and spanish honor society. but he did work a bunch and alwas had to babysit his younger sister.

oh, and hes in stern at NYU. thats probably why i said really really smart kids because its a lot harder to get into stern and more "intense" then the rest of NYU

NMS students get scholarships there.

NYU offers very little financial aid. My Mom's friend's son was valedictorian and received very little aid.

You only get $1000 for national merit
