what language(s) do you speak?

Besides the obvious one (English), what language or languages do you speak fluently? Which one(s) are you learning.

I am unfortunately not fluent in any foreign language, though I'd like to be, but I am pretty good at Spanish.

I used to be pretty decent at Yiddish and Hebrew
...Now I can only ask people their names and say my name in Yiddish. Nothing has retained from Hebrew.

I'm also fairly good at French.

I'm fairly proficient in Spanish and fluent in Russian, although one day I hope to also learn Japanese and German to fluency and perfect my Spanish as well. :]

Learning Latin, but you can't really speak it.

i speak spanish, and i can read portuguese and catalan... i can also speak a bit of portuguese, but not much.

Relatively Fluent: Spanish, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi
Can understand: Gujrati, Tamil, Sanskrit
Failed at: Japanese, French, Mandarin

Mandarin and Cantonese

languages i know best to the ones i know the least: english, korean, spanish, french, japanese

I love language, but I suck.

Fluent: English
Approaching fluent: French
Could figure out a text based on my knowledge of aforementioned Romantic languages: Spanish, maybe Italian
Can write and say some amusing things in: Gujarati, Hindi, Latin (well obv I can write it)
Can say one or two amusing things in: Chinese (4 is 4, 10 is 10, 44 is 44 HAHAHA), Korean

...Basically, English. Lol.

I'm fluent in Spanish, and when I was little (and my great-grandparents were alive), I could speak Portugese. Now I've lost all of it, though, since I don't have anybody to speak with.

I'd really like to relearn it in college.

Oh yeah, and I know dance French and I know some Japanese phrases, but only what they'd say on animes, cause I used to watch a ton of them in tenth grade. So, like, I can order Ramen, solicit a prositute, and say "the ninjas are attacking the castle!", but nothing useful in the real world.

Hahahha yeah. Like, I don't think being able to say "take off your pants!!" in Gujarati is gonna help me out any time in the future. Nor will being able to say "I give myself to you completely" in Latin (or the adjective meaning "exhausted due to sexual intercourse"), or "buttdog" in Chinese. :/

Speak English and Gujarati fluently
I am learning Spanish
I can understand Hindi

^ Pants karinak!!!

Lawlz.

I'm fluent in English.

Spanish is a work in progress. I'm getting there. Today I bought a copy of *Cien a

Haha, I forgot, I'm very fluent in Chinese slang as well. =)

Proficient: Spanish
Fluent: cursing in Spanish

fluent - russian and ukrainian
proficient- english (lol)
learning - spanish and german

Duh, fluent in English. And:

Uhmmmmmmmm I srsly beg to differ. I am practically fluent in speaking Latin [lol!] and am quite fluent in writing it [hmm because why would I ever write something using a grammatical device I've never heard of????lololol] and am halfway fluent in translating prose, very fluent in translating poetry, 5% knowledge of grammar. lol. :]
And I'm learning Arabic, mostly just so I can deter telemarketers. I used to know a TON of Romanian and was like 75% [lol why am I putting percentages on here...i am weird srsly] fluent in it, lol, but I've forgotten really everything. And I used to know a lot of Greek and a lot MORE of Italian. bah, my memory fails.

I have difficulty in Spanish, know various words (like 10-15 maximum) in French, German, and Hebrew/Yiddish, and know five Russian words in English script (can't read Cyrillic). I think I fail more at languages than most people here.

i speak english, hindi, sindhi, urdu, german, punjabi, spanish, and some chinese
