<p>There are lots of things that you can SAY in latin that definitely can go into modern conversations... "defututus es?" for one :] My teacher asked me that the other day... bah! I must give off the wrong impression, or something.</p>

<p>^ AHHAAHHAH! Wooowww. First I heard it was when my (ex)boyfriend's away message was "tired" and someone IMed him "defututus es?" XDDD</p>

<p>I used to be incredibly fluent at Mandarin Chinese when I was younger (knew the traditional sayings and poetry), but now, speaking Chinese is pretty rough... I understand it better than I speak it though. And I just don't write it at all, to be honest, lol.</p>

<p>I had a short stint with Russian, so I guess I could survive an airport and asking where Red Square is. I know the Cyrillic alphabet, but I don't know how to pronounce words well because I didn't practice enough... I have a book without the corresponding audio, and audio that just doesn't have a book.</p>

<p>Right now, I'm focusing on my Spanish because it's the language I'm taking in high school. Hopefully by the end of hs, I'll be fairly fluent. In college, I want to take a Chinese course and perhaps another language, like German or Russian...</p>

<p>Languages are a lot of fun, though school doesn't allow me to devote as much time to them as I would like. However, I guess I don't have much of an excuse, considering how fluent you guys are! :)</p>
