What led you to apply to Princeton?

Well, just wanna hear why you guys decided to apply to Princeton..
I'll start.
I wanted to study engineering and completely ABHORRED the MIT
and Caltech after the visit.. its atmophere and everything..
Then I considered Stanford but then my parents desperately wanted me
to go to the college in East coast...
looking for some good engineering schools in East coast (with some
prestige and name value as well) I encountered Princeton and fell in
love with it. haha :)
What led you guys to apply to Princeton?

There have been like a million threads about this already... just take a look a few pages back...

In a nutshell, I would say the amazing focus on undergrads, the breathtaking campus, and the Woodrow Wilson School.

i was attracted by its undergrad focus but kinda turned off by its relatively weak research programs (compared to MIT and caltech)... after weighing all the colleges, i finally zeroed in on ptoin because of its well rounded approach to education and its superb campus!

awesome buildings

Really it is ridiculous. Ok, I had expected way higher SAT R scores but I'm still a far below average applicant I guess. Maybe I did it just for the fun of it. All the work for having a little bit of fun and a following disappointment ?

Well... when I encountered the Princeton website in January this year, I was absolutely delighted by the open mind and spirit of this school. It is so different to all the Harvards, Yales and Columbias... This experience was even strengthened when I read all those posts of friendly, funny people on this board.

Before I even dared to experience the difficulties I would face, I fell in love with Princeton...

hey DavidAlex.....do u mind telling me your scores.....pm me if you wish

the research opportunities and undergrad emphasis

"the research opportunities and undergrad emphasis"
