What magazines/newspapers/etc publish satires?

<p>satire? you write satires? nice. I was assigned to write one in english class... :( got a 67. lol. You should post some of your work here, I would definately like to read it.</p>

<p>not too much but i have one good one that a teacher suggested i publish. if it makes it into a newspaper i'll post it on here, but i don't want anyone to steal my idea just yet. :)</p>

<p>Yup, that makes sense. Well unfortunately I wouldn't be able to suggest anything to you. But if its really really good, why not submit it to a real newspaper? Like your local newspaper or the New York Times or something? Depends what the satire is about. If its about politics, then it would make sense to send it to political magazines or newspapers.</p>

<p>even though local newspapers don't usually seem to have satires printed, i'm sure they'd be glad to print yours if it was really good and you explained to them that you're a student that loves to write. if not the local county papers, try the metropolis papers too. and hey, there's nothing wrong with trying, either. go for the New York Times or the New Yorker.</p>

<p>you can always try as proxility said, just send a mail to them, and tell them how you are a high school student etc. Just try, it doesn't hurt to.</p>
