Okay, so I'm currently deciding between majoring in Physics, Biology, potentially Engineering, or anything else really. One job I'm really considering right now is Physical Therapy. Biology would be the path of least resistance for this, but I know how terrible biology degrees are without professional school. And what if I change my mind senior year? What if I get rejected to physical therapy school?

Anyway, here's a breakdown of my pro-con list...

Biology...
Pros:
Finish in four years
Easier than Physics or Engineering
More overlap with PT requirements

Cons:
It's practically pure memorization, and I prefer more of a problem-solving based education
Horrible job prospects without graduate school
Would end up taking more bio classes than necessary
In general I would feel like I'm just taking the "easy" route

Physics...
Pros:
I find it more interesting than biology
Leaves my options more open (could go to grad school in Hydrology/Geology/etc.)
More geared towards the type of education I want (Mathematical)
Better job prospects than Biology with BS (I know the prospects aren't great, but better.)
On the off chance I become a teacher, I'd much rather teach physics
Could more easily change my major to another interest later on (ie. Geology)

Cons:
Would likely need a fifth year (can't get FA after four years.)
More difficult (lower GPA)
Less geared towards what I primarily want to do, so less "practical" in a way

Let me know what you guys think. By the way, I'm very fickle, so my intended career could easily change between now and when I graduate 3-4 years from now. I would hate to realize I don't want to do PT after I've wasted 4 years on a bio degree.
