McGill supposedly has an excellent linguistics department; one of my friends got into both McGill and Georgetown with linguistics in mind, and apparently when the Georgetown rep found out about his intended major, she told him to just go to McGill.

How easy is it to switch from the arts faculty to science faculty, and vice-versa?

really easy to switch into arts; harder to switch into science.

How about class taking? Is it easier to take arts classes from the science faculty than to take science classes from the arts faculty?

I have a few questions. I’m a pre-med student who wants to get a humanities degree. Is it possible to take science courses if I am in the Faculty of Arts? Do the arts programs at McGill suck? Do I have to be in once of the Science schools to take those courses? I decided to not declare myself as pre-med, but to go to medical school, I do need to take certain courses. Will I be able to?
