Why do so many schools feel taht AP Calc AB is useless?
i'm in tenth grade and in pre-cal and is it possible for me to just skip AP Calc AB and go to BC? If AB is not that important, then should i just go straight to BC?

9th - Geometry

11th- AP Calculus BC
12th- Multivariable Calculus

Calculus AB is not a prerequisite for Calculus BC. The AB topics are a subset of the BC topics, so lots of students "go straight into BC." Some schools are retarded and make you take AB first, though.
