As a rising senior in high school I am assuming colleges want to see me taking a higher level math course. However, I have already completed BC Calculus and Statistics last year so there is nothing else offered at my school. I am looking into a degree in actuarial science or applied mathematics and economics so math is very important. But I am not sure what to take or where to take it that will look good to admissions counselors. I have heard I should take multivariable calculus, linear algebra or differential equations. I don't really need the credit but I would like it to be an accredited course if that makes sense. So in conclusion, what should I take and where should I take it? Online is best

i can’t tell you where to take but as an applied math/econ major, the next step would be multivar and then linear. Usually these are each 1 semester classes. Linear would be most helpful for you but IMHO you should take mulitvar first, as some schools actually consider it a prereq to linear.
