<p>I'm still debating whether to retake for a 35. I heard Michigan counts everything above a 32 the same (except a 36 obviously) because thier range is like 27-31 or something.</p>
<p>I can't say whether or not your high ACT will make up for your low GPA -- but it certainly helps. It all depends on what your GPA is, and why it is so low. Would you care to tell us what your GPA is?</p>

That's the range for the middle 50%. Which means 25% have 31 or above. It isn't some sort of threshold for applicants to pass, and it doesn't say anything about their admissions process.</p>
