My mistake was applying to too many schools. I didn't have any university I REALLY wanted to attend, so I just applied to a bunch that seemed appealing. Also, I applied to more schools out of state because I didn't want to stay in California initially, but am now faced with the likelihood of staying in-state due to financial problems. So, for any juniors reading this: Don't apply to more than six colleges. Seriously.

Oh, and I'm considering UCSD, Cal, NYU, and GW. Though, I'm definitely leaning more towards UCSD at the moment (obviously, since I'm not posting in any of the other schools' forums). I won't be able to make it to Admit Day, but I'm checking out the campus during my spring break. Hopefully I'll be sold by then.

i applied to 14 schools across the country, but most in ca. for some reason, i didn't realize that i only could go to ONE school. . . i just kept applying and applying

i applied to 11...5 CSUs...just because I could...i had no intention to go to one, 4 UCs, 2 private (USC, univ. of the Pacific)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to UCSD next year. Saving $100k for Grad and still going to one of the best schools in the nation is too hard to pass up. Plus I can still major in Economics, PoliSci, or Electrical Engineering (since that major is opening up next year), and still be set and able to afford Grad School, be it for Business or Law.

I'm waiting for Admit Day to make it 100%. Hope to see you guys there!

hahah that would be so mean...but at least you'd know who I am...0=] "oh, there's that chick, hoboknifefight, she's obviously a loser...look at that lame shirt she's 'sporting'".........

I got accepted to UCSD, but in picking the six collegs, I basically did it randomly, is that bad? Probably. But I dont care, Im goin to Texas baby!!!
