I plan on taking physics next semester but i need take another pre med class with it. what class should i take that’s not too bad. i’ve taken gen chem and the lab and i’ve also done intro to bio:ecology and evolution. i know people usually take physics and orgo 1 together but i’m not starting the orgo sequence until junior year. please help!
What’s your major?
If you’re a bio major, consider taking genetics. It is useful for the MCAT and not so time consuming as A&P.
Or take stats, calc or another math class. (Physics is math intensive so you’ll be doing a lot of math anyway. An additional math class may help reinforce physics concepts or help with calculations.)
Have you taken a stats class or intro sociology or psychology? Do you have specific medical schools in mind? If you are looking for a biology class to take (and have completed the General Bio sequence for your college) consider a class in genetics, cell biology, microbiology, even anatomy. Some medical schools list on their websites recommended courses to take, in addition to those required.
